APAt a time when many assume the Eagles’ offense will find their missing mojo on Monday night against the Saints’ overmatched defense, it’s easy to overlook the fact that the Philly defense isn’t exactly dominant — and that the New Orleans offense still sort of is.
Making it harder for the unit previously coordinated by Juan Castillo to contain the Saints is the status of safety Nate Allen and defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins.
Both are questionable. Allen didn’t practice again on Friday after tweaking a hamstring on Thursday. Jenkins fully participated in practice on Saturday, despite a knee injury.
Receiver Mardy Gilyard (hamstring) and guard Danny Watkins (ankle) are out. Probable are cornerback Brandon Boykin (toe), tackle King Dunlap (hamstring), and defensive end Phillip Hunt (calf).

Eagles better score 40 to have a chance Monday…and since they aren’t even averaging half that, it may be a long night. And another game closer to saying goodbye to Andy & Vick.
Who’s the bigger loser? What a non-contest.
I think Philly will pull of a win Monday night against the Saints
Nate Allen has been Questionable all year.
My corner bar is full of guys assuming the Iggles will find their mojo. But the guy at the end of bar screams the Iggles never had any mojo, so how can they find what they’ve been missing. since Donovan McNabb puked in the huddle.
