How quick people forget the Fins defense gave up a million yards against the Cardinals earlier this year. They are good against teams that depend on the run game but struggle against passing teams. They are the 2007 Minnesota Vikings Defense. You cant run on them but you can pass all day long. Luck played great. Tanney did not play bad but it is clear who the better prospect is.

He was definitely worth the Colts throwing all those games to get the #1 pick.

Let this be a lesson to any team in the same situation – Goodell would never fine a team on something like that as it would question the integrity of the game.

Tannehill’s performance will get overlooked because of Luck’s monster game, but don’t be mistaken. There were TWO great young QB’s on the field today.

Congrats to the Colts on the win, but I’m sorry to say the terrible referees helped you win that game. I counted 8 times The Colts O-Line BLATANTLY tackled or held a Dolphin DE with no call. Two horrible non existent holding calls, the big one on Thigpen’s punt return. And a phantom PI call on Koa Misi that led to the first TD.

Also, I hope the Phins pass on re-signing Long unless he takes a massive pay cut. He was terrible today.

Luck had time to pull a cigar out, cut it lite it and have a couple of puffs before throwing the completions on way to the record books. Were was this great 3rd down defence we keep hearing about.
Luck is going to be great but i do wonder what Brady will do to our defence when he gets to us if we play like that. Ryan Tannehill looks like the real deal also just hope he pushes on i would love it if Luck and Tannehill have the rivalry like Brady and Manning had. Brady is still the king of the AFC though for a few years yet.

And Long is overrated?? How about all the pro bowl o-line players for Indy? Backup center, backup RT. Stop making excuses.

Indy probably is not as good as their record right now, but give them credit when it is due.

Wow Andrew Luck, what an amazing game! Sean Smith, lol, he had 3 or 4 chances for an INT and couldn’t make plays. Also a rough holding call on that Thigpen return at the end. Still though, Indy deserved this with the way they dominated Miami’s defense on third down. Looking forward to seeing these two QB’s battle in the upcoming years.

Dolphins D is bad? You weren’t saying that before the game. Maybe Luck was just good today?

It’s interesting … a lot of the pundit keep talking about RG3 running away for the Rookie of the Year award (I believe Schefter mentioned it last week?)

Yet, Luck, the first overall pick, has arguably had a better season and has his time with a winning record and in playoff contention. They really don’t have that much help for him – the running game isn’t good. The OL is probably average. The defense is … average.

Don’t get me wrong, I love both, and living in the DC area, it’s easy to see why there’s so much excitement with RG3. But for my money, right now, Andrew Luck should be ROY.

As a side note, it’s almost surprising how well some of the rookie QB’s are doing.

Luck was exceptional, especially on 3rd downs & this coming from a Dolphin fan. Great game to watch, just wish the Fins could of pulled it out.

Bad loss. Lines got handled.3rd downs were embarrassing Left 3 interceptions on the field( Dansby’s would have been a pick 6, Smith -who I think was on crack today-let an easy int turn into a TD by T.Y., and another that would have won/tied the game).

Tanny was good, but Luck was spectacular.
