Listen I’m a Pats fan till the end but its funny how everyone forgets if left to Kraft this team would be playing all there games in a tax payer financed stadium located in RI. By the way how many 100s of millions of dollars did the state off Massachusetts pay upgrading the roadways around Gillette?
-----------
Kraft was just working over Providence and Hartford, hoping to work something out. It WAS left to Kraft, and unlike most other owners who hold their town and fans hostage, he funded the majority of the new stadium build, put himself at huge risk, and kept the team in the right spot. And yes, MA pumped in some money for off-ramps... big deal.

I live in San Diego, and can read in the paper every week about the Spanos family and the Chargers... pining for a downtown taxpayer funded stadium...

Kraft is top notch compared to these guys and only a few other owners are in his league. I'd love to see him as Commissioner some day. Then the Pats-conspiracy-haters can really have a field day... but it would be good for the game.

Unlike most other owners Kraft financed his own stadium and didn’t extort it out of the taxpayers. That is a lifetime achievement all on its own.

Best owner in sports hands down.

Even the Patriots haters need to acknowledge that without Bob Kraft's leadership there is no labor agreement with the NFLPA

Of course Kraft would probably be the first to acknowledge that without Jeff Saturday showing similar leadership for the NFLPA there's likely no agreement either.
