The Bears have raced to a 28-2 lead, and their offense has only made a vague contribution.
The latest touchdown was a Brian Urlacher interception return for a touchdown, the seventh pick-six for the season. Coupled with a blocked punt for a score, they don’t need much.
The first offensive score, an 8-yard run by Matt Forte, was set up by Devin Hester’s 44-yard punt return. While writing about the landslide, Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall caught a 13-yard touchdown pass with 1:33 left in the first quarter.
A penalty on Bears tackle J’Marcus Webb in the end zone led to a safety, the only points the Titans have on the day. The Bears clearly have issues offensively, at least until the fourth quarter. But it may not matter today.
