The Saints play in a poor community in the NFL’s smallest market with higher ticket prices than TB and a team the NFL has decided to cripple. They don’t seem to have any problem selling out all their games and helping TB sell out one road game a year.

You’re right on !!Same crap goes for Giant’s new digs. Only up in nose bleed you get hit with gale force winds and sleet on your face all game ! If the Turnpike don’t back up for 3 hours going there. Freakin Maras never did give a crap about 95 % of the fans, only the 1 percenters that have the warm boxes.
Maybe Tampa needs Johny Depp and his boys in the Pirate ship at half time !

Florida is a terrible sports State. Terrible. I actually feel bad for the Bucs because I do like them and I love me some Doug Martin (been a fan since his Bronco days) and they deserve better.

I know there are tons of die hard Buc fans, but this is sad. They should be selling out that stadium every week. Freeman has played great, Martin looks like a once in decade type of back, they have great weather, and they still can’t sell it out? If I were a die hard Buc fan I would be P.O’d, no on want’s to go to a game and see half the seats empty, not the players, not management and not the fans. I hope for the Die Hard fans sake that they sell out.

Really sad because the Bucs are a team heading in the right direction. They play hard, and are taking on the personality of their head coach. I would buy stock in this young team.

The blackout system is very similar to our education system. Its design is very counter productive. If your team struggles to sell out seats, not showing the games on TV will only exacerbate that problem. Nobody in Tampa knows the Bucs are doing good this year because they havnt been able to watch any of the games.

its only Monday… i could understand if it was Wednesday night… how about writing a story about how everyone was doubting Dougie cause Carl Nicks and Davin Joseph were out and embarrassed a so called tuff Oakland run D. All I can say as a Bucs fan is this is the most exciting offense we have ever had, win or lose im happy we are making it worth going to watch, come next year we can dedicate the draft to all defense, mostly our pass D. Go Bucs!!!

Really? They actually have a chance to win a bunch of games and possibly a playoff birth with Freeman playing so well and the young great runner in Doug Martin. You’d think that would put butts in seats.

ive been there this year and it has been pretty full. there have been alot of walkups after the 72 hour period. the redskins game was blacked out though they had sold enough tickets to reach the threshold, the 72 hour needs to go or they should ask for an extention like the bengals did
