You’re calling objective people, “naysayers”? You really are a Raiders’ fanatic. There isn’t a single position in the NFL where there is room for injury. Particularly, with the running back position.

It doesn’t matter if McMuffin could rush for 1,000 yards in ONE game, if he’s on IR for the rest of the season. The only valuable player, is the player who suits up for 16-games a year, and your boy can not, and never will.

In stark contrast to McMuffin, look at a couple of the greats: Smith & Tomlinson. Besides obvious talent, they also had remarkably injury-free careers.

As amazing as AP is now, he’ll likely never come close to the career numbers that Smith or LT had, because he’s had serious injuries already, and is about to cross the dreaded threshold of his 30th Birthday.

Finally, look at what happened with Larry Johnson of the Chefs. Forgetting that he’s a despicable human being, who relishes hurting women (ala Tom Cable) – he was also run into the ground, with those 300+ carry seasons. The same thing has already happened to McMuffin. Even before his newest injury, the guy was putting up laughably low numbers this year. He’s spent, from being over-used in his last number of partial seasons.

Don’t get confused, the only team as bad as the Chiefs are the Jags.

I mean can’t every body tell the only time the raiders move the ball is when we are in a no huddle. Also how many runs that DMC has busted for big gains were called back, because of penalties. Our O-line was a lot better last year with wiz at lg, and cooper at rg. , and cooper sucking all of lasat year, only to get cut, and resign. ……i mean maybe it’s time for parsons, and bergstrom to play.

Bingo. Ir’s funny that this hasn’t been noticed more. Goodson looks to be the back for the scheme. In his limited carries, he has looked like he could be really productive in the ZBS.

DMC can be so bad ass, but he is always on the sideline. Let the dude go and use the money for the depth this team lacks.

Without him, Richard Seymour and Tommy Kelly had to stay in for more snaps. They can’t tow the line for a full game anymore and the result is Doug Martin putting a footprint into the Raiders D.

McFadden going out with a lower leg injury is just the regular schedule for him. I don’t expect to see McFadden, Seymour, or Kelly back next year.
