Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew has already been ruled out for at least one more game, but his return may be in sight.

Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey said at his press conference today that Jones-Drew will not play on Thursday night against the Colts. However, Mularkey said he doesn’t think Jones-Drew’s season is over, and that he could return as soon as the Jaguars’ next game, on November 18 in Houston.

Jones-Drew has been out since suffering a foot injury in Week Seven against the Raiders. Rashad Jennings has struggled in Jones-Drew’s absence, with 50 carries for 148 yards in three games since Jones-Drew went down.
