Given how poorly the Titans have played, why wasn’t there a sense of urgency BEFORE their boss put them on notice????? Seems to me those coaches should be fired if their source of motivation comes from the fear of losing their jobs instead of setting high standards because they care and take pride in their work. Just sayin’

The defensive coordinator has got to go, and with him the offensive coordinator as well. The team has been unable to stop any quarterback on third down, almost irrespective of distance. Jerry Gray can’t even get 11 players on the field consistently, as amply demonstrated in the colts game.

Coming into this year, it seemed as though the titans were gathering some good young players on both sides of the ball to form a good core of guys for the long haul. Now that we’re halfway through the season, either those players have taken steps back in their development, the scheme doesnt fit their talents. they’re poorly coached, or some combination of those things. Something has got to change, and for me it’s both coordinators. The special teams one, but for the game against the bears, has been good.

Special teams had a very bad game but the defense has played poorly all year. The offense has been adequate enough to wins games but the D continues to bleed. Don’t know if its players or coaches but I think the defense is the biggest concern.

Excuse me, Bud, but how can the Titans get back to being a championship football team when they’ve never won a championship in the first place? Just sayin’….

Hopefully the firings will start with OC Chris Palmer then by the firing on DC Jerry Gray. Two failures who somehow got another chance to ruin an NFL team.

I wish Khan would do this in Jacksonville. We get grossly outcoached and outplayed weekly. When our QB, who leads the worst offense in the NFL says the team is “satisfied” at his position, it reveals the complacency and complacency has no place in football unless you’re holding up the Lombardi trophy and that feeling can’t last too long or you’ll be unprepared for the next year.

Bud Adams, crazy ol’ coot, has it nailed, here.

Maybe if he hadnt insisted on Young as his QB a few years ago the team would be a few years further along in their improvement and they wouldn’t have driven away a great coach…

This is great that Bud Adams did that. I am tired of watching my favorite team settle for mediocrity or less. There is too much talent on both offense and defense to be one of the worst teams in the league. Big things need to be changed, and I would first look at both offensive and defensive coordinators. Chris Palmer has too many weapons that he is not using like Jared Cook. Jerry Gray is just terrible. Had high hopes for him, but not anymore after having the worst Titans Defense in their history. I hope this organization makes the correct moves to become a future championship contender.

Well had they been producing then our senile owner (and let’s be serious he didn’t craft that message, his people / family did) wouldn’t have to take this stance. Maybe the current staff has been taking their work too lightly?

Don’t wish unemployment or hardship on any involved, but it’s clear a new direction needs to be taken. Defense is sieve, and probably half the points the offense has put up has been in garbage time in one of our many blowouts.
