Keep in mind that the Giants and their fans are DIRECTLY impacted by the damage of the storm. Just because a person is wealthy does not mean he is obligated to give money to a charity for a natural disaster.

Maybe Irsay is giving money to support Leukemia research? That would be fitting since that impacts his team directly. Would you then be upset with the other owners not matching his donations to the cause? All of these guys, even as greedy as we know them to be, will donate more money every year than all of us will in a lifetime. They have the right to chose which charities they want to support.

Remember, it was Romney-Ryan who promised – promised – to cut funding for FEMA. When President Obama called Gov. Christie offering immediate financial assistance for NJ citizens, and Christie gratefully accepted and publicly thanked the President, the Romney-Ryan campaign vilified Christie, as did Fox News, the RNC, and of course right wing nuts on radio. Perhaps Woody Johnson, who trailed Romney around like a love sick puppy during the campaign, feels the same way about storm ravaged working people in NY and NJ as Romney does.

But if Johnson can find a dollar to spare and chip in for relief efforts I will than him, too.

To the fans of the Giants I am sorry for my rants but as someone who has been effected by the storm and know many in very bad shape I am sick and tired of these maggots and there stupid remarks.

For an organization that makes hundreds of millions plus off New Yorkers, half a million seems pretty chintzy.

They also pay Millions and Millions in paychecks not just to the players but to all the folks that work for the team all the ticket takers and everyone else many who have been effected by the storm.

They also paid to have there own stadium built unlike so many of your teams who take tax dollars to make there millions.

As the sun comes up this morning there are hard working people in the dark who are going to be facing up to 4″ of snow tonight but they will get by as there neighbors will help them not FEMA not the Red Cross but local churches and food banks.

If you do what to help I agree do not trust the international charities find a local food bank or church those folks are boots on the ground and in the effected areas.
