APPackers outside linebacker Nick Perry is getting a second opinion, but not on his knee.
Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the extra attention is for an earlier wrist injury rather than the more recent knee problem.
Perry injured his left wrist in Week Two against the Bears, and has been on the injury report with both wrist and knee problems since the Texans game on Oct. 14, when he hurt his knee.
The knee problem is apparently progressing well. He wore a cast on his wrist earlier in the season, but had use of all his fingers, so it wasn’t considered a big deal. With the Packers on a bye, they won’t be talking about it until next week. At a time when outside linebacker Clay Matthews could miss a couple of weeks, they need Perry more than ever.

Down nine starters and two top back-ups and still winning. Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy may be pretty good at this stuff.

We’ve been dominating without Jennings, Jordy, woodson. Wait till they come back! The NFC should be frightened
Our best Middle Linebackers out for the season – our starting OLBs go down for a few weeks – Our Nose tackle misses a few games – our one veteran in the secondary goes down…
Factor in Greg & Cedric getting banged up…
