Don’t hide, come out an play. I’m begging one of you degenerate “thumbs down” cowards to post your reasoning for why you think it’s a negative thing to show support for a man who is battling a disease that eventually will take his life. The rest of us HUMANS would love to hear.

I was at the Dome-reopening after Katrina and saw Gleason’s punt block first hand and I have to say that moment in time was actually more intense than the kick against the Viking’s to get us in SB44. My heart goes out to him bigtime!!

And shame on ESPN for the way they reported it during the game. They dragged it on for a good 20 seconds before finally getting around to the news that he was OK (relatively speaking). Way to sensationalize a man’s terminal illness, you bunch of dirtbags.

The “like” or “dislike” comment option is normally pretty irrelevant. However, who in the hell gives these great supportive comments for a man with ALS a thumbs down?

If you think it’s cute then man up and by all means post your rationale for your view.

I watched one of my best friends slowly succumb to ALS and when I read that headline my heart sunk. My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Gleason and his family.

He probably fainted at seeing how well the Saints D-line was playing! Gleason is a great guy and hope everything is okay.

Why do we have the NFL wear pink in October and yet completely ignore prostate cancer awareness or ALS?
