Perhaps you should learn a little about football. Standings in the middle of the season mean nothing. What DOES mean something is that the Packers own Jay Cutler. He rolls up into the fetal position if you mention clay matthews.

Besides, all I was doing was saying that Bears fans shouldn’t be talking smack to Packers fans. Middle of the season standings don’t mean much. End of the season standings only mean seedings in the playoffs, and as we’ve seen quite frequently, seedings mean nothing.

And I can concede your point, since a 9-7 team WON the SB last year, while the 15-1 team WATCHED from home.

That said, standings matter all season, since every game won or lost affects whether a team wins their division, and where they will be seeded.

I guess every team with a better record right now must be better than teams with records that aren’t as great, because nothing ever changes week to week, or year to year.

My prayer would be that the Bears win the NFC North by two games or more, so the rest of us don’t have to listen to the cheeseheads’ incessant whining and crying about the game they lost in Seattle.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Texans can hang with the Bears at Soldier Field in the cold and wind.

It’s forecast to be in the 70′s in Chicago on Sunday.

Also, it was no more than 2–3 seasons ago that the Bears’ fans were calling for Tillman to go because he wasn’t playing well.

J.J. Watt could clinch Defensive POY with that offensive line.

No matter how you’d like to spin it otherwise, that Week 2 loss was just that – one loss in a long season, and our only loss through 8 games…You should make yourself useful and invite chi01town to a trash-talking duel.

Yes, because the Pack beating the Bears by 13 at home is really “destroying them.” Forte left the game with an injury and Jay started throwing picks again. If I were a Packer fan, I’d hope the same thing happens again at Soldier Field later this year (and it just might with Jay behind center).
