Driver gave up touchdown to Cobb

Randall Cobb, Patrick Peterson AP

The play that sprung Packers receiver Randall Cobb for a 13-yard catch-and-run gave the Cardinals plenty to complain about, given the apparent pass interference committed by receiver Donald Driver, who seemed to be blocking cornerback William Gay while the ball was in the air.

Now, fantasy owners have something to complain about, if they had placed the Dancing with the Stars champion in their lineups for Week Nine.

According to Rob Reischel of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the play was called for Driver, not Cobb.

“When we broke the huddle I was getting ready to line up,” Cobb said.  “[Driver] pushed me and said, ‘Go ahead and go get it kid.’”

“Randall Cobb’s a playmaker,” Packer coach Mike McCarthy said.  “That’s how we view him.  Playmakers need the ball in their hands.”

And that’s what Driver realized.

Or maybe Driver has Cobb on his fantasy team.

It’s only fair. The Seahawks cheated to beat them earlier. Now it’s the Cardinals turn to cheat a team out of a win.

The called play was a screen to Driver who is 50 years old and for Cobb to block? Ok then….

Shame on anyone for having Donald Driver on their fantasy team. If you are scraping the barrel that had you can’t even be close to the playoffs anyway.

Driver must be on the rosters of those seldom heard “10 starting WRs, points per block downfield” fantasy leagues. They’re very competitive.

I liked the replacement refs better. They did not have an agenda to make certain teams winners for the sake of TV ratings and jersey sales. It was sickening to watch the refereeing of this game. It was so obvious, I believe the Cardinals perceived this, and it affected their game. Why try if you can’t beat the judge?

The only way the game is fun is when you are getting down to playing players like donald driver because your league has deep rosters, or a large number of competitors. You can call deciding on james jones or randall cobb as a waiver pickup fantasy football if you want. I refuse to play that chump style

So the packers are whiny when they’re legit robbed by the refs….

We’re whiny when every week a receiver is shoving Sam Shields to the turf, only for Shields to wind up as the one that’s called for PI….

Nick Perry clean sack on Andrew Luck gets a $7500 fine, meanwhile Alan Branch pops Rodgers in the chin – no penalty – no fine…. smh

idk… if you’re gonna call us out for “whining” about the refs, then it’s probably a big No-No to then whine about us getting calls in our favor … (especially in a blowout victory) …. people might think you haters are hypocritical.

Donald Driver has still got it and is awesome all around! The best receiver the Packers have ever had.

Driver has nothing left to prove. He’s a champion too, and smart enough to know this is his last year. He’ll willingly go out as a Packer favorite and will remain so forever in Packer lore. Too late for Favre to pay attention.

I think Don Hutson was the greatest, although DD was a great talent.
