Driver gave up touchdown to Cobb

The play that sprung Packers receiver Randall Cobb for a 13-yard catch-and-run gave the Cardinals plenty to complain about, given the apparent pass interference committed by receiver Donald Driver, who seemed to be blocking cornerback William Gay while the ball was in the air.

Now, fantasy owners have something to complain about, if they had placed the Dancing with the Stars champion in their lineups for Week Nine.

According to Rob Reischel of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the play was called for Driver, not Cobb.

“When we broke the huddle I was getting ready to line up,” Cobb said. "[Driver] pushed me and said, ‘Go ahead and go get it kid.’”

“Randall Cobb’s a playmaker,” Packer coach Mike McCarthy said. “That’s how we view him. Playmakers need the ball in their hands.”

And that’s what Driver realized.

Or maybe Driver has Cobb on his fantasy team.
