After missing three games following his third concussion of the year, Jaguars receiver Laurent Robinson caught a season-high six passes on Sunday against the Lions.
He was concerned that he may have suffered yet another brain injury.
“I was a little nervous because the first time I got hit, I landed right on my head,” Robinson said Tuesday, via Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union. “But I was able to get up and not feel anything. That was a good feeling and a sigh of relief. Then I was ready to get back out there as soon as I could and contribute.”
Per O’Halloran, Robinson participated in 45 snaps on Sunday. Before the three games he missed, Robinson had suffered two concussions in two games. He is expected to have a regular role on Thursday night, against the Colts.
For the year, Robinson has 15 catches for 175 yards and no touchdowns. Last year, Robinson caught 54 passes for 858 yards and 11 touchdowns in Dallas, setting the stage for a five-year, $32.5 million contract, with $13.6 million guaranteed.
