Getty ImagesJacksonville Jaguars’ quarterback Blaine Gabbert left Thursday night’s game against the Indianapolis Colts after being sacked early in the fourth quarter.
Gabbert was sacked by Colts’ safety Antoine Bethea as Gabbert scrambled to his left. Gabbert landed hard on his left shoulder and was attended to by the Jaguars’ training staff. Gabbert has a torn labrum in his left shoulder that has been an ongoing issue the last several weeks.
Chad Henne replaced Gabbert under center and led the Jaguars to their first touchdown of the night against Indianapolis on a 4-yard pass to Cecil Shorts.
Gabbert was 18 of 31 for 209 yards and an interception at the time of the injury.

His injury..playing QB for the Jaguars ..that must hurt alot
Did anyone else see how empty the stadium is? Good god, this team needs a hero and obviously its not Blaine Gabbert
Worst 1-2 combo of Quarterbacks in the NFL
This just in, official injury labeled as “Lack of talent”
and he should never come back.
Gabbert’s a grease fire. Cut bait, Jacksonville.
Gabbert stinks! He’s killin’ my fantasy team. Thank God Henne got in there and realized, hey, Cecil Shorts is on this team…
Jerks…
Getting hard to watch my favorite team, so vanilla. Gabbert needs help and playing better but he’s still playing soft and afraid to make mistakes. You can’t run a 5 yard hitch to L. Robinson every other play. Where’s the light at the end of the tunnel? Maybe Kahn??
Well good thing they didn’t take a chance on trading for Tebow over the offseason. Wouldn’t want to disrupt this incredible Gabbert/Henne passing attack.

I was there. Stadium was full until the fourth quarter. Fans show up every week. The team hasn’t.
They should have cut to the Jags coaches box. Someone in there may have been doing the happy dance.
No one likes injuries, but a perfect excuse to end a failed experiment? Yes, please.
