I think bobnelsonjr is right, Lions should win this game by 30. If it wasn’t for the Nascar race on Sunday, I’d come out to cheer the Lions on. We all know they need somebody to buy tickets because nobody in Minnesota will.

All they need is a franchise QB, O-line and some some shut down corners and they will become a force.

hey everybody can dog on ponder all they want im not defending him but out wr’s simply cant get open or get any separation which forces him to dump it off or throw it away- the smart choice or act like a 2nd year qb and try to run from the pocket. give him some time and lets get another wr before we pull out our pitchforks.

I don’t think Ponder is he problem; he’s shown plenty of potential. I think the problem is Simpson or rather Musgrave trying to force Simpson on Ponder. They desperately want a deep threat and appear to want the ball forced his way. They were much better without him while relying on Peterson and the short game, although I’m not sure that Harvin doesn’t mean more to the team as an overall threat. I also believe they are a more well rounded team than some give them credit for.

Only fans with half a brain expected more than 6-7 wins out of this team (an example of 1/2 a brain is demonstrated by the Pack-fan posts above). Peterson hasn’t really practiced on a Thursday the last few weeks so no biggie, but with Harvin likely out, we’re screwed on Sunday.

Actually, they’re most likely going to have to go 5-1 over their last 6 games. Vikings have definitely done better than everyone thought so far, but that’s the definition of overachieving. They managed to play above themselves for half a season, but that can’t last. Lions have been underachieving but that too is correcting itself. It’s a shame Harvin is likely to miss, when the Lions win skeptics will blame it on Minny not being full strength. Not being hater but in the previous victory their offense was awful with only 212yds/2 FG, and they’ve looked worse lately except for Peterson.
