LeSean McCoy misses another practice, but will play

The best offensive weapon in the Eagles’ arsenal has an illness. And it has kept running back LeSean McCoy from practicing each of the last two days.

McCoy missed practice again on Thursday. A source with knowledge of the situation has confirmed the various reports that McCoy will nevertheless play on Sunday, when the Eagles host the Cowboys.

Receiver Mardy Gilyard (hamstring) and running back Chris Polk (toe) have been scratched for the game, and guard Danny Watkins (ankle) didn’t practice on Thursday.

Full participants on Thursday wer esafety Nate Allen (hamstring), receiver Jason Avant (back), cornerback Brandon Boykin (toe), linebacker Akeem Jordan (groin), guard Evan Mathis (knee), and safety David Sims (foot).
