You know what’s funny it’s that everyone is saying just wait till they play the saints then well are who’s undefeated….. And if they beat the saints then everyone will just say oo yea they look at the record of the saints and all there other opponents thats a combined … Losing record meanwhile everyone has been saying that content for the past 3 weeks since they played the eagles… Basically it’s a lose lose situation

I’m not sure why Roddy White, or any nfl player for that matter, cares about 16-0? Would it be nice? Probably, but I’d rather be on a team that goes 9-7 and 4-0 in the playoffs then any 16-0 team that doesn’t get it done. Just go back to 2007, do you think any player would have rather been on the 16-0 Patriots than the 10-6 Giants? You’re measured by championships not regular seasons!

We have a great team with at least 3 guys that you cannot leave in man-to-man coverage (White, Jones, Gonzales) and in addition you have Harry Douglas and Jacquizz Rodgers. The Defense has stepped up with Grimes out, mainly Moore and DeCoud.
Still, it is bad mojo to talk like that.
Now Roddy has to make it happen, and we’re holding him to it.
Next up is the bagheads. Go into their house and shat up the Stains.

Roddy has never ever ever ever ever won anything. Neither has the Falcons. They get this great 8 and 0 start and even i thought, wow, maybe the Falcons are a different team. A better team. Then it happens. Gonzalez starts running his big mouth about how the Falcons don’t get no attention from the media. Waa Waa Waa. Now Roddy is running is big mouth that the Falcons are going to run the table. Ha ha. So now i say, this isn’t a better Falcons team. Its the same old one from before. The ones that run their mouths about how great they are when they still have NOT ever won anything. I believe the Saints will shut yall up real quick Sunday when they hand yall a 38 to 3 but whoopin! Geaux Saints!

There’s a lot of jealousy in this thread, a lot of people irritated because a team is undefeated and it’s not the one for which they root.

Personally, while I’m not a Falcons fan, I wish them well. If they run the table, fine, even if they beat my team in the Super Bowl. My team has won it all before, and has lost the SB before; being there in any given year is something 30 other teams are envious about. I’d like to see someone go undefeated, just so we don’t have to hear any more garbage from/about the ’72 Dolphins again.

-No playoff wins
-Going to lose in the playoffs

Is there anything else that you would like to say?

Oh, wait…you can’t say anything else because the Falcons are undefeated. I suppose that you will just have to keep being mad until the New Year then.

Thanks for the motivation and I am sure that the Saints, Bucs, and Panthers will get over .500 real soon.

Falcons are good but they’ve only beaten one team that’s over 500 (Broncos) and that was the second game for Manning). Jury still out. Giants will be a huge test if they’re still undefeated. White should have kept his mouth shut. Don’t these guys ever learn? How stupid can you be?

During the preseason, I saw a sideline interview with Matt Ryan and I saw a confidence in his face that I hadn’t seen before (Saints fan here) and the Falcons’ play has been outstanding this year.

I don’t believe they’ll make a 16-0 season but, I do believe they’ll go deep into the playoffs.

I also don’t understand why they haven’t gotten the accolades afforded to other, less-winning teams this season.

They’re having a great year so good luck Falcons.

The Falcons are a very good team but they are not in the discussion as one of the “greatest of all time” type teams and that is what is necessary to go undefeated. They will need a ton of luck to run the table. I’m not saying they can’t do it; just that I don’t think they are as strong as they seem. I think they lose in the Superdome even with a horrible Saints defense (as long as Saints offense is healthy)

Falcons will lose by 10+ points in yet another one and done playoff appearance. Mike Smith can’t coach against the the other top coaches in the game and Matt Ryan can’t handle the top defenses.

OK, Roddy. This is the same Falcons team that took a last second Hail Mary and a blown coverage to barely beat my struggling Panthers by a FG. Oh, and that was in the Georgia Dome as well. We shall see I suppose, but that kind of talk can backfire real quick.

Que the Falcon haters! The Saints better have more to their game than what they are ‘reading’. Once they get popped in the mouth…thats out the window. Yes…Atlanta could lose (of course) and winning the playoffs are the big prize; but to win in the playoffs…you have to actually get there. Right NO? We cant deal with the playoffs until January. For now…we are taking care of our business and 31 other teams would love to have our record. GO BIRDS!
