Wouldn’t be surprised if the Patriots take a look at him to possibly play on the other side of Talib so they can move McCourty to safety full time and keep Kyle Arrington stapled to the bench where he belongs while tossing Dennard some reps here and there to groom him to take the #2 CB spot over in the future…Not sure what Routt’s issues are as I haven’t seen much of him but if the Chiefs are picking up most of the bill then I could see BB snapping him up and giving him a shot because let’s face it: Our secondary is terrible (at least before the Talib trade)

The Lions have a ton of confidence in their pair of DB coaches (Tim Walton, Marcus Robertson), and I wouldn’t at all be surprised if they take a shot on yet another reclamation CB project.

The guy has stiff hips and trouble locating the ball. He’s fast… really fast… but football instincts and positional skill set are seriously lacking. His salary may have been a consideration for cutting from both the Raiders and the Chiefs… but make no mistake, if the guy could ball at corner, he’d still be with one or the other.

He didn’t get cut from the Chiefs because he wasn’t good enough for them.

He was cut from the Chiefs because he wasn’t good enough relative to his pay scale and future higher pay scale in conjunction with their ability to win this season.
