You overestimate the number of Christians in the same way that Tebow himself is over hyped; he can’t be overrated as a bench warming backup. There are approximately 159 million Christians in America. Not all of them are Conservative right wing nuts, as the past election showed. Tebow should be starting on the joke called the Jets.

Maybe now that the NFL players have judged Tiny Tim Teblow the most overrated player in the NFL the ignorant pundits can take a hint and stop writing garbage articles about him. I’m sick and tired of all the attention paid to this pathetic excuse of an NFL player by the media morons, try writing some intelligent articles about really good players or teams.

If Tiny Tim Teblow wants to win he needs to go to the Lingerie League where his throwing like a girl will be the norm.

I agree with what many are saying on here, Tebow if anything, is UNDERrated. In order to be actually overrated, SOMEONE has to think you’re good when you are not. Tjacks7 makes a great point, the people voting in these polls are not understanding the difference between overrated and overhyped, two totally different things.

IMO Ray Lewis is severely overrated, he’s been overrated for years solely b/c the media loves him.

Ray Lewis is far down the list of greatest MLBs of all time, he is behind:

Jack Lambert
Dick Butkus
Willie Lanier
Ray Nitschke
Sam Huff
Mike Singletary
Chuck Bednarik
Junior Seau
Brian Urlacher
– and bringing up the rear is Ray Lewis

I’m not sure those taking the poll understand the definition of overrated.

An overrated player is a player who is considered to be far better than he actually is. Best example of that in today’s NFL? Michael Vick.

Tebow, on the other hand, is the best example of a player who gets a great deal of attention for reasons other than his on-the-field play. I don’t know anyone who thinks that Tebow is a great, or even a quality, football player. He may be over-exposed in the media, but he’s not overrated.

Questionable that you have seen all of the above play one down in the league. Even if you have, Lewis does not take a back seat to Uhrlacher, Seau, or Singletary. As far as Lambert goes, he was a great player, but not the leader that Lewis is. I hate Ray Lewis. But I respect the hell out of him as a linebacker and team leader.

Was the poll only for this year? If not Tebow should definitely win. He was the most overrated player in history last year. All he did was beat some teams that were suffering from key players being injured and only had to score about 10 to 14 points a game to do it. I mean come on he couldn’t even beat out Mark Sanchez!!!

I’m not generally a Tebow defender, but this just reads like a list of players who some feel get too much media hype and coverage, not players who genuinely meet criteria. The inclusion of Peyton, Brady and Ray Lewis just proves how ridiculous and invalid this is as a list of players who are genuinely ‘overrated.’ Overexposed, maybe…but not overrated.
