Maybe he does have attired arm, why not? The Giants are in a good position to give him some rest. They are probably good enough to win a couple games with their 2nd QB, if necessary. This guy is a terrific QB and plenty tough. I’m a Pats fan, but wouldn’t mind having Eli if Brady were not around. Give the guy a week off and evaluate him; the Bengals aren’t that tough.

The Giants and Eli have never played dominant, lights out football during this time of year, yet they’ve won 2 out of the last 5.

It could be, I know some of his throws are off because his receivers are running wrong routes. Martellus Bennet claimed responsibility for one of Eli’s passes that was intercepted in the skins game. I also think Cruz and him were not on the same page last week. The Giants offense has option routes that WR’s pick whether to go inside/outside or deep based on coverage, and I think the WR are more to do with his recent performance and INT’s than anyone else. Every year he is breaking in new TE’s or new recievers.

Kevin Gilbrides awful offense is option based. Eli and his receivers have to be on the same page. They are given 3 routes and have to know what he is thinking in order for it to be effective. The receivers are young and due to injury it’s a revolving door. Eli doesn’t complain, doesn’t blame anyone, just goes about his business. Stop trolling and judging the guy because you all wish you had a qb that did the same.

When did anyone ever say Eli Manning had Dave Parker’s right arm? He’s not one of the QBs with a cannon; he just happens to be clutch when it counts. If he hits Cruz for another go-pattern TD in Cincy like the game-winner against Washington, this tired arm talk will magically disappear.

Rueben Randle was drafted as a purportedly NFL-ready WR, instead he has been invisible. Domenik Hixon — injury prone. Ramses Barden — 4 years and he’s still wondering what this talk about “Option Routes” is all about.

Running Backs that don’t catch the ball well, a TE that has to stay in to help the shaky OL.

But they “confirmed with someone in the know that Eli’s arm is tired”

Seriously, any other player would’ve been hated or at least labeled selfish or self entitled for refusing to play for the team that drafted him. Somehow Eli got a pass and wasn’t subject to any blowback.
