Earlier this week, the Packers were “gathering information” about right tackle Bryan Bulaga’s hip injury. The information is now in, and it’s not good.

Pete Dougherty of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that the Packers could be without Bulaga for several weeks, or possibly for the rest of the season. The Packers are off this weekend.

Dougherty points out that no offensive lineman missed a snap for eight games; now, T.J. Lang could slide from left guard to right tackle, and Evan Dietrich-Smith could replace Lang at guard. The next injury, however, would push an undrafted rookie into a starting job.

A first-round pick in 2010, Bulaga missed four games last season.
