Morgan was falling forward and Haruki could have used his helmet but used his shoulder instead. It happened so fast I get the penalty. But what’s he supposed to do? Just let him catch it over the middle. Hey Mr. Morgan let me know when you catch it because I would hate to hit you too hard. I always loved that about football, like go ahead and come across the middle if you dare, that’s what separates the men from the boys I hate how soft it’s gotten. 21,000 is extreme I don’t care who you are a lot of people don’t make that in a year. Especially on a play like that over the middle. It could have been a lot worse is all I’m saying.

Hardy, I like the aggressiveness but on third down with and the ball out that was just dumb. We had them stopped in their endzone and could have had great field position. Plays like that really hurt us. Do that cheap stuff on 1st down not 3rd.

Yeah funny they didn’t flag Thomas Davis for the illegal hit on RG3 while out of bounds. He kept pleading with the officials saying that Griffin was well inside the white when TD sent his ass flying. No fine from the league office means TD was right.

The reason he was flagged is because of Griffin’s intention on the play. The Third was not out of bounds yet, so technically it was a legal hit, but if you hit a quarterback attempting to scramble out of bounds in today’s NFL you are going to draw a flag. Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing is a matter of opinion, but a hit like that is always going to draw a flag nowadays.

Bad play by Hardy on the penalty but he has been playing his butt off lately. His aggressive play was much needed to add energy to the defense.
