Name QB’s with a horrible line who have one SuperBowls while running for their life?

The reason being, I watch every Dallas Cowboy’s game, every second, for most of my life, good or bad. Unfortunately, they are a huge part of my life.

That being said ROMO IS NOT THE PROBLEM!!! If you listen to the media and watch only highlights, I do not blame anybody for thinking that with the way he is painted.

Romo is an awesome QB who has been a victim of bad coaching, no running game, poor defensive play, depleted O-line, and STUPID receivers.

Why is roger Staubach afraid of Jerry Jones? He’s independently wealthy, isn’t dependent on Jerry Jones for anything, so why is he “careful not to directly criticize” Jerry? Would it be considered “low class” to directly criticize someone who has a lot of money, but is still “low class” himself?”

You don’t get it. Not everything is about money or “low class”. It’s about maintaining a relationship with the Cowboys. Since Jerry is the current owner, it’s his organization. Ask Jimmy Johnson how welcome he is with the Cowboys right about now.

That’s probably very accurate, even if that means he may not be totally frank about his assessment of Romo. Afterall, several QBs did not get good protection and were running for their life but still won SB.

He also is perhaps THE most underrated QB of all time. You put his numbers in today’s offenses – not to mention today’s rules – and the youngins’ heads would spin. He retired with the highest QB rating of all time. The recent NFL Network special ranked him the #1 QB of the 70s. Well deserved.

And, don’t forget he served 5 of his prime years in the military not on the football field.

2) Even if he weren’t, Jerry does have a lot of power and say about what goes on in Dallas. I know that Roger used to be a huge real estate magnate there. It’s typically not a good idea to make enemies of extremely wealthy/powerful people in the area you are doing business.
