Von Miller plans to sack Cam Newton, do the Superman celebration

Broncos linebacker Von Miller plans to steal Cam Newton’s celebration on Cam Newton’s home field on Sunday.

When the Broncos play at Carolina, Miller told Lindsay H. Jones of USA Today, he’s planning to sack Newton and then discard his own sack dance and instead do Cam Newton’s patented Superman celebration.

That would be great,” Miller said. “I hope I get a chance to do it.”

Miller usually does his own dance, which he calls the DeSoto Shuffle, after he sacks opposing quarterbacks. But Miller doesn’t just show off when he gets a sack: He also donates $1,000 to his charity that provides glasses, contacts and eye exams for needy children every time he gets a sack. That’s worth celebrating.

It’s a pleasure to cheer for a guy like this. The NFL really needs to market guys like this more. Too many knuckle heads are grabbing the headlines for the wrong reasons.

Miller is a beast. He’ll get his sack and more. Newton will definitely need a suggestion box after the Broncos are done with him.

Love me some Von But you did a dance last week after making a tackle and you are way to good for that. Save it for the sacks. GO BRONCOS!

I like Von Miller, but why talk about it, just do it and surprise us.

You Broncos fans expecting a blowout, just prepare yourself for a close game. I’m not saying Carolina will win, and they very well could, but they’re not an AFC West 2-6 team.

Um, a QB is SUPPOSED to score more TDs than an opposing team’s pass rusher has sacks…

Don’t get too bent out of shape with what kepickle says, he doesn’t know football. I too have made the mistake of correcting him. He wont get it. Let it go

Go Panthers, let’s upset this awesome Peyton Manning team. They look so good I didn’t think Peyton would make it back. Clearly dude is a stud. We can beat them, we can play with any team in the NFL.

You aren’t a 2-6 AFC West team? Right… you are just a 2-6 NFC South team… haha! Learn to talk some smack before you try it. This will be a blowout. Cam isn’t going to be able to move the ball on our defense, and Manning will have his way with yours.

I hope he also has a plan for how to explain to the coach the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty he’ll get.

So let me get this straight, if Cam celebrates after a TD, he’s a selfish, egotistical individual.

If Von steals his celebration after a sack, he’s a class act?

It’s amazing how much fans outside of NC want to demonize Cam. It truly is.

Mind you, I’ve been a big fan from afar of Von’s since he entered the league and have no problem with this idea from his perspective. He’s a beast and a half and a joy to watch.

I wouldn’t say this will be a blowobut win for the broncos, the panthers defense if pretty good, its their offense thats struggling to move the ball.
