Nothing wrong with how he plays, that BS with Smith-just watch it on YouTube. Ritchie did hold his leg to keep Smith away from the fumble. Smith got punished for the kicks to the head. Ritchie didn’t twist Smith’s leg. Ritchie was a hot head early in his career & paid for it but has turned it around. He plays all out on every play to the echo of the whistle as it should be. And if anybody thinks that dirty play isn’t taught or bounties aren’t issued in Pop Warner I can tell you different. I have 4 sons who dominate the line due to their size & strength & have seen opposing coaches take time outs to point at them & other key players only to see knees get cut & at that age that mentality is far worse than anything Incognito has done. As a matter of fact my biggest son plays guard nasty & I’d love to see him play like Ritchie, at least the version that’s with the Dolphins now.

Richie is so fine he really blows my mind. Hey haters, Richie has 0 PF penalties this year. For those of you that can’t comprehend modern math that’s none, nada, zip, zilch, zero!! If he was so dirty don’t you think he would have at least 1 PF penalty? Or is he a super sleuth private eye as well and he can make himself invisible? Seahawks really miss him in St Louis, he was always good for a couple PF’s, a game. Being hard nosed is one thing, letting the D get to you, and doing something dumb, is well stupid. He has stupid written all over him.

I am not certain what he has done in Miami, but he certainly hurt the Rams when he played the Hawks.

I thought this was a pretty good article.

Incognito is a tough player, and contrary to some of the comments above, has done a great job for the Phins and has behaved himself on the field. I don’t think he has any more or fewer penalties than our other lineman in Miami.

His reputation as “dirty” started in his early years in the league and will stay with him throughout his career, however after watching him for the last 3 years (thank you Direct TV), he isn’t close to what I would consider a dirty player.
