APEarlier this week, Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green said that there were “a lot of holes” in the Giants defense.
The Giants took some umbrage at that suggestion, but they didn’t seem to close all of the holes that Green picked up on film. The Bengals have jumped out to a 7-0 lead in Cincinnati after Andy Dalton hit Green for a 56-yard touchdown pass on the first possession on the game.
Green really did find a hole in the defense. There wasn’t a Giant within shouting distance of him as he caught the pass and strolled into the end zone. It looked like Giants cornerback Corey Webster expected some help over the top, but there was none and the Giants will get the ball for the first time in a 7-0 hole.
Green had three catches for 70 yards on the drive, a pace that will have to slow down if the Giants are going to avoid a second straight loss.

I listen to Boomer and Carton all the time and in fairness Green was mostly complementary to the Giants D.
That was no hole, it was blown coverage — Stevie Brown got caught peeking inside when he was supposed to be high over Webster. A score is a score, but stop trying to give that nonsense story legs by posting this inaccurate headline.
They soft! All hype like Philly
Six targets, four catches for 80 yards and a TD… in the first quarter.
Yep.
lol Giants are hot garbage…. they’ve gotten dominated for 4 straight weeks. took 10 turnovers and horrible officiating for them to eek out wins vs. Washington and Dallas. Not so lucky the last 2 weeks.
Eli sucks. He hasn’t thrown a TD pass in now 2 and a half games. Of note, he has only been sacked 10 times this year.
hey mr. wright – are the giants “rusty” and “going thru the motions” today like they were week 1 vs. dallas? LOL….
this team is average unless they’re getting everything to bounce their way.. coach calls them out for being soft and they come out like toilet paper this week too…
No, they’re being outplayed. You got the wrong one if you’re going to pull that low IQ nonsense. I call it what it is, good or bad.
