Ok, so now we are going to base decisions on a players previous history of injuries?? And I suppose no other player has ever left the field for an injury and then came back and made a tackle, caught a pass, or ran for a first down?? So unless a player comes back after a injury and sucks on the next play he was faking?

You can’t just draw your own conclusions because you “think” he’s guilty.

It’s all about player safety right commissioner ? So should a player risk further injury because he’s worried if he leaves the field comes back you might decide he was faking it, and you will fine him ?

This commissioner is so transparent, yet the only one calling him out on it are the fans. This is a slippery slope.

The only way my Ravens will beat the Steelers next weekend is if all of them are suspended. The league really let down Ravens fans! No justice!

The reality is, with the issues with injuries hurting players for YEARS after their careers over, it isn’t a good idea for the NFL to be doing things like this.

If Sanders was pulled into the court of law with a judge and jury, he walks. In fact, it never would have gotten to court because a judge would have thrown it out. There is absolutely no way of proving that he did not have a cramp.

Do I believe he had a cramp? No. I don’t believe the Saints were a 100 percent clean football team either, but regardless, if you take legal action against a team, you need to have all your ducks lined up properly with compelling evidence in hand. You can’t take action against people based on hunches and speculation, I’m just worried that one of these times it’s going to backfire against the NFL in a really bad way.

I agree with you, but this is not a court of law. It is Roger’s kingdom, and he does not need any evidence, or anything else. His WORD is absolute law.

According to his quote, he used “appeal/appealing” 4 times and said nothing to deny was he’s being accused of and fined for. Emmanuel, you doth protest too much.

Its frustrating when players get in trouble for something Goodell “THINKS” could of happened but when things really do happen it slids under the rug. Its sooooo inconsistent.

2 Giants went down at the same time faking injuries to stop the clock. it was disgusting. nobody was fined, though.

Also.. if i remember correctly.. this incident was not fined.. just for the record..
