You better have a good line ready, bc Freeney, Mathis, Redding and friends will be ready to get after Brady. Add in rookie Josh Chapman, the beast NT from Alabama who was on PUP, and you have trouble. This isn’t the old Tampa 2 defense Brady can pick apart. Hopefully this will be another great Colts/Pats game.

Mankins’ play is way overrated…his toughness however, is not. He’s a tough dude. But regardless of that, his play isn’t deserving of the contract he squeezed out of the Pats. He can’t get around the corner and is just falling apart…due to age, freak injury, etc…he’s not had a lot of luck this year.

Coach Scar(necchia) has a fantastic program and he gets all guys from top to bottom, ready to go.

I guarantee you…without Mankins the Pats won’t miss a beat. Without Connolly though…well, that’s who I really worry about. He’s also our “backup” center…who moved to RG when Waters changed his mind about showing up.

Is Mankins better than Donald Thomas? Yes. Is the dropoff as big as people might think? No. All of the games that the Pats have failed in due to pressure on Brady, Mankins has been in the lineup for. He’s not the savior. He’s missed multiple games this year and Donald Thomas has held his own.

I hadn’t noticed that Mankins never returned, nor did I see Connolly get hurt (was drinking involved?), but, now I understand why Brady had minimal protection today. If these two guys are out for a while, The Pats are in trouble; this is bad new.

Their offense got worse as soon as he was off the field. Hoping it’s minor, but seems Mankins is snake-bit this year.

Haters… rejoice. But remember, you are the same guys who were saying he would never re-sign with a “classless” organization like the Pats.
