APThe worst-case scenario for a West Coast team playing the early start on the road is to fall behind quickly.
That’s exactly what happened to the Raiders, as the Ravens are off to a 10-0 start and looking like they could add to it.
The Raiders made it easy on them to start with, after an offensive lineman stepped on quarterback Carson Palmer’s foot on a fourth-and-one attempt. That led to an easy field goal, and the Ravens just padded it with a short touchdown run by Joe Flacco.
The Raiders, playing without running backs Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson, are going to have a hard time sticking to the run now.

Are you saying that falling behind early isn’t the worst-case scenario for teams other than West Coast teams playing in the East? It seems to me that falling behind early is a problem for anyone.
Don’t worry – Joe the non-elite just threw a pick to keep the raiders in the game! What a crappy QB!
Dennis Allen + Greg Knapp = Terrible coaching. We miss Hue!
This is the worse defense I have ever seen… How can u win if you can’t make the other team punt ????
The coaching is fine. The problem is players. We’re a QB, 2 RB, 5 O linemen, 3 DB, 3 LB, and a pass rushing DE away from being a playoff team!
