I could be wrong, but when Spikes flexed, it wasn’t yet clear that his injury was a concussion.

Not my favorite moment for Spikes, but I will say that I love how he plays. He hits hard, he plays BIG, and he’s a leader on that defense. His presence alone makes a difference. Talk all you want on the field, too.

I’ll agree that the muscle pose after the Jackson hit was classless. But the hits themselves weren’t dirty. The hit on Fitz was barely illegal and nothing worth crying about. Ultimately, the only reason the Patriots are better than the Bills is because of Brady. If you switched Brady and Fitzpatrick, the Patriots would be losers and the Bills would be winning the division. That last throw by Fitz was a losers throw. The Bills should have won that game, the Patriots defense is horrible and Fitz gave them a gift.

Bills fans are the worst…you won’t even have a team soon…get passports ready to go north. Fitzgerald is terrible and Pats dominated you and went into a soft shell at end. Good teams make good plays at end. Tell Mario we missed him…that was money well spent..baaaaaahaaaaaa

It was Jackson’s choice to bend over, helmet first for several running steps in a clear attempt to spear his upcoming tackler with his helmet.

A lot of RBs do this. He just got the worst of the deal this time around.

Jackson hit Spikes as much as Spikes hit him.. and Spikes clearly hits him with his shoulder.

Whoa Whoa Whoa, Are there really Pats fans on here defending Spikes? Um, Tom Brady gets tapped on the shoulder and the laundry comes flying! It was a foul, there is 0 debate. He will be fined, and there should be no complaint. Buffalo got punked by the Refs more than Spikes, they were playing against NE and the Refs the first half. Fitz played a heck of a game and unfortunately doesn’t get the benefit of having another phase of the game bail him out like Brady or any other top-flight QB does. If Gailey would have stuck with the run last week, we would have won that game, I think we can pull out the wins we here in Buffalo thought we would in the second half of the season, and maybe be in the talk of Post-season math come week 16 and 17. Anybody who thinks the Pats owned this game and were dominant throughout obviously didn’t watch the game and will have a rude awakening come time to play a team marginally better than the Bills they saw today.

Brady doesn’t really ever get hit like that because his O-line is great at pass blocking and his pocket awareness and mobility is second to none in the NFL so the point is moot.

When you hit a guy cleanly and cause a fumble, that’s what you do. Show me where it says not to tackle a running back in the head. Players do what ever is allowed.

Give me a break. I don’t know what he says on the field, but Spikes hits hard a cleanly almost always. The hit on Fitzpatrick was barely illegal. They tapped helmets face to face, but Spikes leg knocked of his helmet after the tackle. Nothing that dramatic and nothing different than any other game. As for the hit on Jackson, the guy is a runner. That’s perfectly fine good hitting. If a guy hits hard that makes him a good player, not a head hunter.
