I know this isn’t supposed to be anything more than a recap, but the writing in this story is awful. Repetitive and simplistic. Reads like a 6th grader wrote it.

GRENDLG. I would rather be the saints even at 4-5. Y u ask. Because we have Brees. And Sean Payton. And class. And everything else it takes to be a Saint. And the falcons have no Super Bowl wins. An overrated team. A loss to the Saints this week.

Every week people try to counter unwanted Saints chatter by reminding us of our record. I remember the 0-4 chatter…then the 2-5 chatter… now the 4-5 chatter. When you say a 4-5 team after starting 0-4, im thinking 4-1 since that horrible start soooo…please keep reminding me why my glass is half full not half empty.

Why is it that everyone is saying the Falcons didn’t play anyone because they had losing records but now that the saints beat them (with a losing record) the saints have shown that they are a playoff contender?

One of the other posts had it right…all the NFC South games are tough because they all know each other so well.

Honestly at this point even though the saints may be out of the race I can’t have any confidence that the falcons will do anything more than another early postseason exit.

Love all these guys calling the Falcons overrated and pretenders. What team do you root for that’s undefeated at this point? What’s this awesome team waiting in the wings that’s gonna blow everyone away? The Giants? The 49′ers?

There’s a few very good teams out there, and the Falcons are one of them, but there’s no world-beating team that is head and shoulders above the rest, so get over yourselves.

The Falcons played pretty well, but the defense isn’t what got ‘em beat. It was the offense. The Falcons had an early pick, took a 15-yd celebration penalty, and ended up kicking a FG instead of having it first down at the Saints 12. Then, the Falcons had the ball late and kicked a FG after 1st and goal at the Saints 5. The killer at the end was not punching it in after 2nd and goal at the Saints 1.

If the Falcons can’t run the ball up the middle, then they have to get Quizz out on the edge. I was shocked not to see him get a ball out of the backfield on any of those goal-to-go situations. Koetter has to use him more.

Maybe white will learn to shut is trap one of these days. Falcons are really not that good. Won a few lucky ones for sure. Bears will destroy them if Atlanta is lucky enough to sneak into the playoffs.

I’m a Saints fan, and these two teams play each other hard no matter what there records are (cliche, but true). The oddest thing is that, as much as the teams hate each other, I’ve ALWAYS, without question, had fun interacting with Falcons fans, both here and in Atlanta.
