Windy City will be just that tonight

With a pair of teams that love to play good defense and run the ball, it already was shaping up to be an old-school game at Soldier Field on Sunday night between the Texans and Bears.

So why not throw in some bad weather?

Courtesy of our friends at Weather.com, rain and wind will descend on the Chicago area today.

A cold front will bring precipitation and sustained blasts of air in the range of 15 to 25 miles per hour. As Jon Erdman of Weather.com points out, it won’t be like that Packers-Bears Monday night game from 18 years ago, but it still could be a factor in the performance of the passing attacks.

So if you’re going to the game, prepare accordingly. If you’re not, your decision to stay warm and dry is about to be vindicated.
