Eagles fans are pretty naive… The Eagles obviously did not want Vick to succeed and wanted to turn the entire fan base on him before they kicked him to the curb at the end of the season. Notice they did nothing to help him all year long, let him go out there every week and drop back 40+, even up to 60+ every single game, not calling short routes… playing the same old back yard football.

What happened when Foles came in? Started running the ball, started calling short, quick developing passes, now they go out and sign veteran linemen when they needed them even before the season began. Preparing for the future, and hoping Foles will be a part of it is what is happening in Philly right now.

Lincoln Financial Field is the only NFL facility built in the last 20 years that has NOT hosted a Super Bowl! How can that be? Is the NFL ashamed to admit they have a franchise in Philadelphia ? You could get the Black Panthers to sell the concessions. The Eagles have never won or hosted a Super Bowl ! Why do you guys even show up on Sunday? Oh…I know…Most of you do not have to go to work on Monday.

Great, a guard to fix the line…now all they need to find are two tackles and a center and they’re all set. The way Bell and Dunlap are playing I’d be tempted to give Tra Thomas and Jon Runyan a call, they can’t be worse. I’d settle for Winston Justice.

Jake Scott was a decent to average part of a pretty good Titans O-line for a few years. How much of his play was attributed to the parts around him remains to be seen, but this move will surely help that struggling Eagles line.

How much so still remains a question however.

This would have been a terrific move a few weeks ago, since Scott is a solid guard who is particularly good at pass protection.

However, Eagles are now in a difficult situation with their starting QB injured (having been pummeled all year behind a bad offensive line), and using a rookie making his first start next week.

Eagles have needed O-line help all year, yet they wait till now to sign someone…
