I agree that one was catchable and one was a bit of a stretch, but I disagree on which was which.

Because it wasn’t his fault. Anyone with eyes (which doesn’t include some of the posters here, apparently) could see that the OL played the same way in front of Foles and made him Captain Checkdown. Everyone’s falling all over themselves to excuse Foles’ interception because it was tipped, but Vick’s pick six at New Orleans was tipped, too. Not to mention that Celek dropped two touchdowns and fumbled inside the 5. But it’s Vick. He just “can’t read a defense.”

Vick’s INT went off the fingertips of Celek’s hand at full extension. Celek never had a chance at control, that was all on Vick.

On Fole’s INT, DeSean got both hands on the ball in close to his body, it then went through his hands bounced off his knee, bounced off the defenders knee to another defender who caught it.

I’m still not quite sure how you can’t see the difference between the 2 plays. One was out of the reach of the receiver and the other was the receiver failing to make a catch.

the NFC east is still wide open, thank you New York. the Redskins coming off a bye need to play hungry. this could be a great game

If this is true, Andy really screwed the pooch. I think Foles had a better chance to beat the Saints than Vick. I’m still not sure why everyone feels the need to stick up for Vick.

I find it convenient that the O-Line started to block when Foles came onto the field….

I didnt see much better O-Line work while Foles was in. I did see Foles react quicker to what he was up against. Foles seems to read the D better and progress through the routes faster than Vick. Foles appeared more accurate than Vick as well. We are talking about the Dallas / Philly Game from 11/11/2012, right?

Of course, with an O-line this bad, I’m surprised he’s made it this far into the season.

Vick wasn’t sacked a single time yesterday. On one of the plays that they suspected him of getting concussed it was one where he was trying to scramble for a first down.

Can’t blame the oline for that.

I dont know what game Mr. Gantt was watching, but the one I watched didnt show a struggling Back-up QB. Foles was 22/32, 219 YDS, 1 TD, 1 INT. Hardly bad statistically. That pick 6 was a bobbled pass and the Fumble/TD was desperation time which allowed Dallas to T off on the QB. If Vick put up stats like that and the Eagles lost – the Headline would read “Vick puts up great effort, but comes up short in loss”.

If Foles can put up numbers like that on a consistent basis, he would be a starter for 20 NFL teams.

When’s the last time you heard Vick call an audible? I can’t remember Vick calling audibles. His version of audibling to a run is dropping back for a pass and then taking off.

Does he not know the play terminology? Maybe its the WR and TB who don’t. Either way, it’s no wonder the Dallas defense took over at the end of the game.

No matter your opinion of MV, needing assistance to walk is not something to joke about.

If he continues to play and ends up slobbering all over himself ten years after he retires, will he also file to sue the League ?

I’m sure Reid thinks it’s significant enough to keep him off the field for the rest of the year.
