Possible he was unhappy in NY? And I mean both teams,Buffalo? Jets?Ever try and do your job with inspired flare when you are miserable with your situation? Both teams are in NEED of help to the point of being circus like. As a competitor I know losing regularly can smash the drive out of you. Devils advocate has spoken. Either way Aaron Maybin will get paid for the full year by the Jets because he was on the roster the first game of the year, unless he is claimed before he clears waivers then team will pay him, then all he has to do is get signed to a 1 year contract for next training camp and then make the opening roster again to get paid for another full year, then do it again, his career is hardly over unless, no one gives him a chance at all…we will see if that’s the case…

I realize the guy just got cut and was upset so he had his reasons, but he couldn’t stay until the end of the charity event? Certainly he had made enough over the last couple of years to give back for maybe one or two extra hours that were not in his contract.

Rex Ryan and the Jets made a big deal out of Buffalo not using Maybin correctly, as if the Jets knew how to get more from him. They did. Six sacks(coverage sacks) and a couple of QB hurries. Did they get a starter? A big contributor? Nope. They did the same thing as Buffalo, they cut him. Great project Rex!

Potential?? Yeah I guess if a team needs a guy who will sack the qb every time he holds the ball for 8 seconds ( the amount of time it takes for his predictable speed rush to be ridden out 10 yes behind the play then recover)

The Jets went out of their way to tell everyone how stupid the Bills were for letting him go after not utilizing him correctly. The Jets wanted everyone to believe Maybin was their great pick-up, their Victor Cruz, that showed they aren’t the horrendous talent evaluators everyone has pegged them to be. Well, a year after this “great” pick-up, Maybin put together a whopping 6 sacks & the Jets cut ties with their “Victor Cruz.” This team is a joke & this is just another example of their completely stupid personnel moves.

Maybin was a little light to be an effective Pass Rusher. And a little slow to be a Safety.

Come to think about it……that describes most of the Jets Roster.
