Jerry must display support for Jason or he creates lame duck coach which would be bad for the team seeing how they aren’t completely out of the playoff picture yet.

Now Jerry may be working out something behind the scenes. After all, he is not going to hold the GM (Jerry) accountable.

I thought Holmgren said this to the media when asked if he inquired about the position. This article is really reaching, even if Holmgren does become the coach next year – which I kind of doubt.

You think General (Manager) Jones would want Holmgren attempting to have any say on what free agents, draft picks, and trades to go after? Jason’s all for it. Sean Payton maybe but I’m sure it would get old after awhile but I think Payton stays in NO. But Jerry learned his lesson with Parcells.

Or maybe he was asked if he had heard the rumor that Mike Holmgren expressed interest by a reporter, and responded to what he’s heard or read in the media.
