Stop all the Packer hate, there are stupid fans from every team. I supported the new stadium as I live in MN, and listed to Dayton trumpet the bill as if we had just won some sort of war. For him to turn around and attack the provisions that have his signature underneath it is disgusting, and I am glad PFT and other outlets (I heard the same thing on 1500 AM) are calling him out on it, and making him look like a dummy.

While I dislike the notion of PSLs & despise the philosophical notion of tax-funded stadiums, Gov Dayton made the agreement.

He is trying to score brownie points with the common man & probably feels strengthened by the results of the recent election.

Don’t let the facts get in the way of your boasting…

The Packers ranked 18th in attendance percentage at home games last year with 96.7%, despite a near perfect (regular) season.

The Vikings – on a dismal 3 – 13 run – ranked 14th in the NFL with 98% of capacity.

At least MN is ABOVE average…

PFT nation is well familiar with the Packer Trolls on this board.

What many may not be familiar with is how many cow town types move the Mpls for work & troll from their cubes. Many claim “that the Bears are our real rivals” but nothing gets them more emotional than an anti Vikings rant. It seems that it is often rooted in Big City p*nis envy and the desperate fact that they have to move to Vikings country in order to survive.

This is why many openly root for the Vikings to leave Mpls. They are like radical Muslims living in London……GO HOME CHEESE-HEADS! THIS IS NOT YOUR LAND!

The paperwork and wording of the legislation was never the point — this is all about public relations. Governor Dayton is milking an issue that makes him look good, while the Vikings are tiptoeing around the same issue without looking too greedy. The Vikings can’t win on this one, as is evident by their sucking up in the press release attempting to cover their already exposed posterior.
