I’m sure Chad Clifton has the heart to do it.
Yes, the Pro Bowler is well liked.

But… he has had at least 4 knee surgeries on one knee and 3 on the other.

It would be nice … if we were all 26 again.

Its great he is honest when asked things, relevant to the Packers.

The only thing I don’t care for is how people choose to bash him for being honesty.

Beat up – old – He just has to be effective in giving Rodgers close to 3 seconds to throw the football ….

We’re not going to be asking Chad to be his old pro bowl self – we just need a guy to provide a stop gap for a few months.

Yes, Cliffy was great in his day, but his “days” are long gone. Furthermore, he hasn’t played in nearly 11 months, is he in playing shape, I think NOT!

It sounds more as if he was asked what his thoughts about signing Clifton again were. Not a surprising answer if that’s the case. Could you see him saying no that?

Yeah, probably not going to happen. I think he was just talking about a friend, Clifton will not help the Packers. His knees are toast.

Too bad, Cliffy is a great guy and was a heck of a Tackle.

I said this in the post when Bulaga was placed on IR.

If Sherrod isn’t capable to come back (and he hasn’t done much to win over confidence even if he can get back this year) we’re one injury away from an undrafted rookie taking snaps on the offensive line.

Clifton isn’t what he used to be, but for the stretch run, he would help keep our franchise on his feet.
