He had a couple of good games in 2010 – he took us to the playoffs & when the game was on the line, once again (as his career has shown over & over & over), turned the ball over on an int.

The dude is a turnover machine, a bad big game QB & a coach killer. While we are at it, let’s add: the most over hyped, underachieving player of our generation.

Go Foles!! It would be hard for him to be worse than Vick in 2011 & 2012!

Ah Jim Johnson. RIP King of the Defense.

The Eagles cannot try to replace Jim Johnson, he is irreplaceable. They tried and failed to replicate him. It was Jim that they played for, not the play book. Jimmy commanded respect without asking for it, he really was the true leader of the Eagles. That defense was just flat out mean. Him and Dawkins were very close friends, and it showed.

As an outsider, it appears to me that Jim Johnson was the real glue that held this team together. They are not the same without him and I say that with all respect.

Really Eagleswin? name one Coach that got fired because of Mike Vick? I’ll wait………………I can name you a coach that tried to make him something he was not and failed miserably…i can also show you a coach that went completely away from what worked in 2010 with the same QB….but you all know so much about football you I’m sure you knew that already………Good luck with Foles I am sure he will play much better than Kolb did……..2009 all over again

If they’d have been playing that way the whole season maybe it would’ve been slightly different.

I still boggle at the decision to make Mike Vick the franchise QB. That guy has gotten more coaches canned than anyone else in football.

Even though he’s only a rookie (and will make plenty of mistakes) I am looking forward to seeing if Foles can be the QB of the future. He made more audibles and presnap reads in one half of football than Mike Vick made in 2.5 years as the eagles QB.

Once teams figured out that Vick could only throw “go” routes, he was ineffective with his arm and now, like most RBs over the age of 30, his legs are failing him.
