Lol did Greene just tell the press he thinks Rex sucks ?

Yep…he sure did !!!!
What happened to ” we’re gonna use Tebow for 20 snaps a game ?” If they really did that, maybe they’d have a better record today. Their season’s over, so why not start Tebow and see how he does.
As for the team that went to successive AFC title games, this is a far cry from that team. Wasn’t there a record 21 F/A’s that left 2 years ago ?
Blame the GM for their troubles…someone mentioned a bunch of no names on this team…Jerry Jones would call that depth…lol…

If I were TT I would be hoping they never throw me into that mess and bide my time until I get a real chance somewhere else. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have a choice and will have to try to inspire this team to play when they decide their season is a bust and throw him in there. People will expect him to come to the rescue, like Superman, and they’ll say he sucks if there isn’t a quick turnaround. Still, it wouldn’t really surprize me if he caused this team to get up and play a whole lot better; after all, he been a winner his entire life.

An egomaniac coaches guys to be egomaniacs and when they don’t win the egomaniacs start pointing fingers at everyone but themselves.

After they didn’t win it all the second year they never stood a chance. His rah rah garbage only helped in increasing the amount of guys who think thier position is performing adequately and every other player is the problem.

I could see this train wreck coming at the start of the season. Tebow will make a locker room turn on themselves because he is such a strong leader. That’s part of the reason why Elway traded him, they didn’t need the team divided in Denver any longer.

You are 100% correct that Tannenbaum needs to go & he is to blame for their lack to talent & depth, however you cannot give Rex Ryan a pass here. Ryan has a lot of control over personnel decisions on this team, draft & free agency. He has more control, input & say with acquisitions than a majority of NFL coaches. That was part of the deal with him coming here; he wanted a lot of say because he needed certain types of players to fit his schemes. By doing that, Ryan & Tannenbaum neglected the offense, focusing primarily on the defense, Ryan’s specialty. Ryan has consistently been in the media after draft day(s) & after free agent signings talking about getting “my guy” & “the guy I wanted.” It is a package deal with the two of them; you can’t let one go & keep the other because they’re both to blame. The Jets used Schottenheimer as their offensive scapegoat last year, blind to Sanchez’s deficiencies, and that was clearly the wrong decision & did nothing but prolong the inevitable. Schottenheimer is doing pretty damn good on a Rams team that has just as much, if not less, talent than the Jets on offense. Keeping Ryan & firing Tannenbaum will do nothing but prolong the inevitable again, which is cleaning house completely & showing Ryan, Tannenbaum, Sanchez, Holmes & the rest the door. You need to let go of your AFC CG appearances that you have nothing to show for. Ryan wasn’t the reason they made it. Ryan had numerous clock management blunders those years & was successful with Mangini’s guys. Rex got rid of Mangini’s guys & now your Jets are once again what they have been for decades: LOSERS (3rd worst winning percentage in NFL history amongst all active teams).

Sanchez is fair. Not the guy to win it, but serviceable. But what does he have to work with?

The whole team is terrible. Can’t blame this all on Sanchez.

For the second season in a row, Rex Ryan is losing control of this team. There are two ways a coach can lose a team: (1) through their play where they don’t play hard; and (2) through the actions of the players where the locker room is filled with discontent. Both happened last year & Rex was given a reprieve. Now, only half way into the year, the locker room is starting to fall apart. It is only a matter of time before the players stop playing hard for Ryan, especially with his blind support of Mark Sanchez despite his atrocious play. Nevertheless, Ryan has invited this behavior. Since he got here, Ryan has been in front of the media, running his mouth & making empty promises & guarantees. How can he expect his players to keep their business in-house when he can’t keep his mouth shut himself? I mean, the words he spoke to the players in their “private meeting” regarding the Tebow comments were leaked to the media, verbatim. Remember when everyone wanted to come to the Jets to play for Rex Ryan? Yeah, me neither, more BS from a BS circus.

Call me old fashioned, but the running back that’s 20th in rushing yards, 36th in yards per carry, and averaging a 60 YPG in a run first offense doesn’t get the luxury of calling out other team mates to blame for his team’s poor performance.
