Jabar Gaffney among the Thursday night inactives

AP

Dolphins receiver Jabar Gaffney made the trip to Buffalo and hoped to play tonight against the Bills, but after pregame warmups the Dolphins decided to shut Gaffney down for the night.

Gaffney, who had been listed as questionable with a knee injury, is on the Dolphins’ inactive list. With Gaffney inactive, rookie receiver Rishard Matthews is active and will play for just the second time this season.

The Dolphins’ other inactives are QB Pat Devlin, OL Will Yeatman, DL Tony McDaniel, TE Michael Egnew and TE Jeron Mastrud.

The Bills’ inactives are QB Tarvaris Jackson, RB Fred Jackson, CB Aaron Williams, LB Kirk Morrison, OL Thomas Welch, DE Chris Kelsay and DE Mark Anderson.

  1. what’s with almost every TNF game this year between 2 teams no one wants to see?????

It seems like the same teams that play on TNF then play on MNf the in the weeks surrounding it!! I have only watched a couple of the TNF and MNf games this season bc quite simply its almost always teams I dont care about and don’t care to see. The games seem to have no meaning for primetime now and even SNF has had games this season between two small market teams!!!
Primetime games should be reserved for the most popular teams and the best bloodthirsty rivalries!!!
fins and bills used to be a classic but since the pats have been relevant those teams are just horrid to watch!!!
