Josh Gordon was penalized and fined because he’s a rookie and he hit a future hall of famer, and in so doing, prevented the future hall of famer from making a highlight reel play of his own that the network would have replayed over and over.

It was a marketing decision, not a safety decision, that the league was then obligated to validate with a fine.

Almost as funny as the time Hines Ward knocked Reed unconscious with a legal hit – how is this cream puff even still playing in the NFL? Hahaha! Someone shoots him a mean look and he wilts like a flower.

I understand having to fine players who are repeat offenders, but it seems like there is a fine to go with every flag.

I was so confused by that penalty. They were facing each other when he made the block. It wasn’t a crack back at all.

It was a terrible call. Gordon hit Reed in shoulder and upper arm. Rees was not looking and his head snapped back. Big hit. Legal hit.

It may have been legal if he hit him shoulder to shoulder….but they’d still flag him because that’s what happens
