You must be a vik fan. ernie ernie never said they would make the playoffs at 8-8. He said “he thought” they would be 8-8. And “if they make the playoffs” clearly they would have surpassed “his” expectations of 8-8. vik fans are so stupid. fyi, surpassed means “to go beyond” — which in this case means did better than expected.

Ernie Ernie, this is the best you can come up with? 8-8 and still make the playoffs? I don’t think they would make the playoffs with that record. I think numerous front offices are lining up for the opportunity to hire you for your expert analysis. Look, just after the draft, not thrilled with either Perry or Worthy as people who can aide in the pass rush, no help on the O line and no running backs, I evaluated this team as 8-8 before the season started.

They are 6-3 and I’m sticking with 8-8. I think that at best they win two more games. This team has actually over achieved but against so so teams.

Their competition is much better this year and they are not, not to mention injuries. Rogers has his hands full. If they make it to the playoffs with the injuries they’ve had, you hand him the MVP and forget talk about Manning.

Manning stands behing one of the best O lines, has time to look downfield to make his flick pass. 28 other QB’s would love to have that luxury. He picked Denver for that reason.
Stupid he ain’t.

Live by the sword, die by the sword. The premium teams have the premium QB. Without Rodgers the Packers would be done. Just like the Bears last year without Cutler, only times that by a thousand. That’s just the nature of the NFL. So it’s comical on here when people complain about the billionaire owners protecting their millionaire assets. Ya, like you wouldn’t do the same.
