APSteelers safety Ryan Clark suffered his second concussion in three weeks against the Chiefs on Monday night, but it looks like he’ll be in the lineup against the Ravens on Sunday night.
Clark went through a full practice on Thursday, putting him on track to play this week. It’s not guaranteed, since there are still tests mandated by the league’s concussion protocol that Clark must pass to get cleared to play in the game, something Clark acknowledged while saying he will be in uniform come the opening kickoff.
“I’m playing,” Clark said, via Alan Robinson of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “But I’ve only pushed myself one day. I have to go back out there and push myself again.”
Robinson also reports that Clark was wearing a new, oversized helmet during practice. He’ll likely wear it during the game as well in hopes of limiting the chances of another concussion that could force him out of the lineup again. With Troy Polamalu still out, the Steelers could ill afford losing Clark for any extended period of time and still expect to perform at a high level defensively.

Ike Taylor on Smith and Clark on Boldin. Boldin could easily put the wood on Clark.
Go Ravens
Unbelievable how moronic players are. You suffered a concussion 3 days ago and youre back at practice. Some of them dont get it
Oversized helmet? Maybe if he didn’t lead with his head on every tackle, he wouldn’t be racking up the concussions.
Please let Clark play! Torrey Smith will abuse him all night long, just like last year!
Ryan reminds me of Donnie Shell. Great football player.
Clark will blow Smith up just like he did to Mcgahee….
This guy has so much heart. Come Sunday he will be dropping ratbirds in the secondary. Listen for those footsteps turds a train is coming your way.
All the focus will be on Torrey Smith, the Steeler silencer. Mark my words though- this game will be all about Dennis Pitta. The LB’s will be so focused on pressuring Joe and stopping Ray Rice that Pitta will be fairly wide open all game long. I expect 80-100yds, TD.

How bad will it look for Baltimore if they lose to the steelers with a back-up qb in Byron Leftwich? The steelers pound the ball and still win.
Hopefully this guy stops leading with his head, before he snaps his neck.
Clark is the same kind of idiot that, years after his career is over, will sue the NFL because of his concussions.
Clark brings the legal Hammer – ask Victor Cruz.
Torrey Smith, please watch the replay of Ryan dropping the hammer on Cruz – you’re next, grow eyes in the back of your helmet – and drop a few passes in the process – It’s Hammer Time !
Soldier.
Clark has always been a solid player, and this year he has really stepped up to become a defensive and team leader. He’s really focused. I hope he can stay healthy.

The Steelers have a 3-0 playoff record against Baltimore.
Maybe Torrey Smith should try to abuse Ryan Clark in the playoffs.
Steelers ALWAYS live rent free in Ravenator’s tiny little head.
Gotta love those Steeler Docs! They do wonders that no other NFL team medical staff can do!
