APThe Jets never disappoint.
Thanks to the anonymous “terrible” comments about Tim Tebow, they dealt with controversy all week that the media fed on like hungry sharks. It didn’t take them long after their 27-13 win over the Rams to stoke the flames and ensure more scrutiny of life in the locker room.
Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post reports that linebacker Bart Scott led a “media mutiny” in the locker room after the game by the team’s defense. Per Hubbuch, Scott threatened any player on the defense who said anything other than “both teams played hard.” That included calling linebacker Bryan Thomas a “MF—ing sellout” for saying more than Scott wanted him to say. The attempted mutiny came to an end after safety Yeremiah Bell told Scott to stop, which was followed by Scott talking “calmly and openly” to the media.
It’s not Scott’s first attempted mutiny of the season. He declared one after the season opening victory over the Bills and later had a locker room confrontation with another reporter.
So much for that more placid week in the wake of a win.

Bart is the guy Rex brought with him … remember.
I do not think that word means what he thinks it means!
What. A. Jerk.
I think he’s the neighbor who always gets bags of flaming poop on his door step.
The Jets play an entertaining game of football. In the locker room.
Bart Scott should try retirement.
Good for Yermiah Bell. He provided a lot of leadership in his time with the Phins….glad to see that is continuing with the Jets.
Bart Scott is a buffoon.
He’s not even good enough to do such a thing.
He is one of the dumbest guys in the NFL…and that is saying something.
I wish the media would boycott the Jets.
Can’t wait!!!
What a horse’s rear end.
This whole team needs a gag order..
Besides a poor vocabulary, Scott has a rather poor grasp of his current location. He plays in New Jersey, with New York newspapers covering his team. The papers are not exactly “homers,” and will expose ANY player with “rabbit ears.” Remember how Randy J. folded in the harsh glare when he was with the Yankees? He took a similar approach to the one you are now employing Mr. S. You are not simply making it more difficult on yourself Bart, you are making it more difficult on your MATES as well, you DIVA!
Bart Scott is a jackhole. Glad to see Bell stand up to him. That is what a real leader does, Bart.
nobody wants to speak to him anyway. what can he possibly discuss – what it’s like to be benched for rookie Demario Davis only to see the defense improve?
but who cares, an overdue enjoyable Sunday for Jets fans….even against the Rams.
I like how it says “tries.”
When Scott was running with the ball, I noticed a lineman made up 10 yes on him and ran him down easily. He’s part of the “over the hill gang” now. Slow, slow, and slower.
I’m not sure that Bart Hubbuch quite understands what “mutiny” means.
Maybe he just felt that the word “boycott” has been bandied about a little bit too much in the most recent media push to create some sort of controversy and figured that he’d try to steer the narrative in a different direction.
Hack.
Do they realize they’re 4-6 and done?! D-u-n. Hooray for the circus!!
The team is more interested in the circus than in winning.
Ha Bart Scott. He never fails to embarrass himself.
