Bengals get to .500 with easy win over Chiefs

A protest was organized in Kansas City, as fans were encouraged to wear black.

As fitting as that is for a funeral, they were too depressed to carry it out, as Arrowhead Stadium emptied out shortly after halftime, during a 28-6 loss to the Bengals.

The Chiefs dropped to 1-9, trying both their bad quarterbacks in an effort to capitalize on the momentum gained by a near miss at Pittsburgh last week.

Brady Quinn replaced Matt Cassel at halftime, and was 9-of-14 for 95 yards, to Cassel’s 8-of-16 for 93.

When they blow it up in Kansas City, quarterback’s going to be first on the list of priorities, though there are many.

The Bengals played efficiently enough, with BenJarvus Green-Ellis rushing for 101 yards and a touchdown.

But it’s hard to give them too much credit for improving to 5-5, when all they really did was show up for target practice.

I wouldn’t say the blackout wasn’t carried out. While the crowd didn’t come near capacity, roughly half of those in attendance were in black. Very telling, as the crowd there is usually near 100% red.

Yea those couple gimme games the Bengals lost really hurt now, with all the injuries to the AFC North leaders the Bengals now have a chance again. They’d be in 2nd place right now if they wouldn’t have lost to the ‘Phins and Browns. Forever shooting themselves in the foot…. Nice ID Mike Browns change purse hilarious!
