Every yard of the field is four-down territory for the Bengals today.

Buoyed by three fourth-down conversions, the Bengals are up 21-3 on the hapless Chiefs at halftime.

The Chiefs, on the other hand, haven’t converted a third down yet, and have been outgained 248-148. They’ve only turned it over once, a Peyton Hillis fumble, which actually represents progress.

The Bengals aren’t doing anything amazing to be leading so comfortably, but it just takes competent clock-punching to get one over the Chiefs. Andy Dalton’s a solid 11-of-17 passing for 129 yards and a touchdown, and has also run for one. Bengals running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis has 12 carries for 62 yards and a score.
