APThe name of the quarterback has changed, but the turnovers have continued for the Eagles.
Nick Foles was intercepted on third down of his first drive as a starter, which set the Redskins up in good field position that they used to grab a 7-0 lead. Foles tried a pass to tight end Brent Celek over the middle, but Celek couldn’t catch a ball he should have been able to reel in. It caromed to Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall who returned it to the 9-yard line.
It’s the second interception of the year for Foles and the 11th of the season for the Eagles.
It took two plays for the Redskins to cash in with a six-yard pass from Robert Griffin III to Darrel Young for a touchdown.
UPDATE 1:23 p.m. ET: It happened again. Foles moved the Eagles down the field on the second possession, but got put into a third-and-long thanks to penalties and sailed a pass under pressure that Brandon Meriweather picked off.

Say what you want but that is all on Celek.
Should have been reeled in is an understatement. The ball hit Celek in the chest/hands and he popped it right into Hall’s hands. Both of Fole’s INTs have been nothing close to his fault.
Meriwether may not be a star, he may not even be talented, but just having a real safety starting for Washington seems to make all the difference in the world.
Anyone notice that any time the ball is thrown to Celek this year, something very bad happens?
Nick Foles looks good. Smart, decisive, and has a great arm. This is his first start and he has a garbage oline and a horrible coach. Andy Reid don’t even look like he cares. He never shows emotion or heart. We are getting whipped by the dead skins. I mean come on, who loses to these guys? Coaches are horrible it’s time to clean house!
Yeah a 3rd pick from Arizona as your starting qb,that will work..hahaha
